You probably type ?dot com? or ?dot au? every day, but the internet is about to change with anyone allowed to create their own website endings. From the middle of next year you may be typing Dot Charity, Dot Music, or even Dot Radio Adelaide. Tony Smith, General Manager of Corporate Communications at Melbourne IT told Jess Wingard why the Internet Corporation of Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) decided to open up the domain names.
