You can now easily find a trip planner on the Internet to help you organize your travel plans more easily. One interesting online trip planner I?ve found is the Duffel Trip Planner. I decided to try this out to help me arrange my upcoming travel plans.
What is the Duffel Trip Planner?
Duffel is an online trip planner aimed to make it more convenient for travelers to arrange their travel itineraries and plans while doing their research on the Internet. The developers of this online travel planning service named this after the kind of bag commonly used by travelers to pack their clothes and use as their hand carry during their trips.

The first thing that I really liked about the Duffel Trip Planner is that it?s free. All you need to do is to visit their website at http://www.duffelup.com/?and sign up for an account. You can also choose to use your Twitter or Facebook account information to log in.
Easy to Use
Another strength of the Duffel Trip Planner is that the interface is very easy to use. The buttons are rather straightforward to help you add information and photos for your travel itinerary. Simply click the button on whether the information you want to add deals with your transportation arrangement, activities and things to do, lodging and other accommodations, or food and drink establishments you?d want to try. A screen will pop up where you can fill in all the information that you consider to be important. No need to format anything.
Multiple Ways to View
In addition to the default grid view, users of the Duffel Trip Planner can also choose to switch the view into a map version so that they can get a better idea of the distance of the different places that you want to visit in your upcoming travel plans. This is very helpful if you?re visiting a new destination and are not quite familiar of the area. There is also a print icon that will create a printer-friendly version of your travel itinerary to take with you in your next trip.

Clip-It Bookmark Feature
Once in a while, you?ll come across something related to your upcoming travel plans that you?d want to include in your itinerary. Instead of having to log in to your Duffel Trip Planner account and manually input the information, Duffel Trip Planner has a bookmark feature that you can add in your web browser. By clicking on this, you can easily add the information onto your Duffel Trip Planner itinerary.

Get Help from Fellow Travelers
If you?re taking a trip and you?d want to get suggestions from friends, family or fellow travelers during your trip planning process, the Duffel Trip Planner gives you the option to plan your trip this way by allowing them to add suggestions on your itinerary and leaving comments as well.
More than Just Trip Planning
Although the Duffel Trip Planner is designed as an online trip planner, the interface is very flexible and useful that it can be used to as an organizing tool for other purposes. The first time that I used this was when I created my post Land, Water, or Air ? How to Choose the Best Way to Travel. It really helped me find all of the information that I needed and made it a lot easier to put them together and create my post.
You can also use the Duffel Trip Planner to plan weddings, conferences, or just keep your schedule organized.
There is now an app for the Duffel Trip Planner that you can get to access this anywhere you go, this is only available for the IPhone, IPod and IPad. For those that own other types of smart phones and portable devices, the only option for you to access this is through the Internet.
