DESCRIPTION:

We are currently looking for a Senior Developer to develop new applications or enhance existing applications.?

Web development updates to company's website using HTML, JavaScript, CSS.? ?

Main focus is on Front End, all HTML files.?

Dynamic components are JavaScript driven - Expert with JavaScript

Daily changes occurring, need high level of attention to detail

REQUIREMENTS:

3+ years experience working on Front End/presentation layer web projects using HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS primarily

Any experience working with JavaScript Frameworks/libraries (ex. Backbone.js, Angular.js, Ember.js, knockout.js, require.js, Modernizr, JavaScript MVC)?

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or applicable work experience

Experience with and strong understanding of mobile web development with HTML 5, CSS3, jQuery

Experience with building CSS layouts/templates conforming to all popular browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari)

Experience with compliance to W3C standards and WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards

Any Interests/participation in technology sites/communities/developers: ex. Github

Experience validating web pages with common desktop and mobile web browsers (IE8, 9, 10, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, iOS, Android webkit)

Ability to follow development and testing processes with high attention to detail

Strong analytical, time management, interpersonal, listening?and communication skills

Understanding of user experience issues, and Internet design principle

Windows and MacOS user experience

Previous experience in a financial institution considered an asset

Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months

Pay: 35 to 50 CAD (Canadian Dollar)
Pay Period: Hourly
